MHPSS & PFA
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Psychological First Aid (PFA) — compassionate, structured support for individuals and communities facing trauma and distress.
Supporting Mental Health in Myanmar
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) encompasses a range of services designed to protect and promote mental well-being, prevent mental disorders, and support recovery for those affected by adversity, trauma, or crisis.
Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an evidence-informed approach to help people in the immediate aftermath of a crisis — providing practical care and support without intrusion, assessing needs, and connecting people to resources.
